This is a rare self adjusting equalizer Sony ES EQ. Connect the included Mic, place it in the middle of the room about ear level, turn on the pink noise generator in the EQ and the unit will adjust all the frequencies for flat response in your room. This function works great and your room will sound much better once the EQ is self adjusted. The best part is the whole process takes about a second. The display is a very cool bluish white which you don't see anymore. It is so eye catching. I turned it on and played music through it and found myself just staring at it for a long time listening to various types of music with different frequencies.
