Optima is a multiband 24-bit Digital Module. Compression, Expansion, Limiter and Denoiser algorithms for the treatment of audio signals are included in the unit.

The procedures are visualized on an alphanumeric LCD and the 20-bit signal conversion is achieved at a 48 kHz Sampling Rate. Two types of interface are used for the digital acquisition and transmission of the signal: included are an RS-232 Interface for connection to computers, MIDI In/Out/Thru for use with MIDI keyboards and Sound Modules as well as an Extension Port that can be configured as S/PDIF, AES/EBU, digital A.G.C.® automatic gain control.
