Universal Audio 2-1176 Stereo Compressor Limiter. Great condition!

I'm selling the stereo version of the classic 1176 limiting amplifier by Universal Audio. It's the industry standard compressor/limiter in professional recording studios worldwide. It has been loved and looked after in a no-smoking and dust-free environment and is in an overall excellent condition. I use the 2-1176 more for mixing than for tracking but it is great for tracking as well if you want to control levels on the way into your DAW. It sounds AMAZING on guitars and vocals but you can use it on just about any source for a fatter in-your-face sound. You can't come to close to this with software. It just doesn't match up. For a long time I used software compression and wondered why my tracks didn't sound "professional". Well, after trying a compressor in this league you realize why.
Unfortunately, I cannot afford to keep it any longer so am selling it. The new selling price is around EUR 2700 on eBay and I'm only asking EUR 1800. That works out to 900 euros a channel which is a giveaway. Don't miss this opportunity to acquire a fantastic asset for your studio.
