Saro is a tube distortion effect with cabinet modeling. It's based on AX-84 High Octane guitar amp. Only the preamp part is modeled. There is also no EQ (yet). Don't expect Fender-style creamy warmth - Saro goes for full-on crunch (or insanity with high drive settings).

Phase90 is recreation of classic guitar pedal MXR Phase90. This is a proof-of-concept project to see how modeling the distortion of FET-based phasers affects sound, so don't expect gazillion fancy parameters. I may add stereo support at some time. Maybe

Fragments of the Total Harmonic Distortion sample library have popped up in various places, like the recent OLPC Sample Library Set. The complete library weighs in at nearly 3GB uncompressed. It is comprised of loops at various tempos created and processed with my modular synthesizer. Groove Analogizer is an "audio controlled drum synthesizer", it means that like a vintage electronic drum tone generator (e.g. Simmons) the percussion sound is triggered by an audio input, not by a MIDI message. This also means that you must not load, in the host, Groove Analogizer as a VST instrument, it loads as a VST effect, usually in an insert slot.

But it's really a synth: the sound of three oscillators is triggered and shaped by the audio input in many ways.
