cuidados para un micro de cinta

Hola, revisando las cajas del trastero he dado con un papelito con una serie de recomendaciones y advertencias para los micros de cinta y he pensado que a lo mejor le podía servir a alguien. Venía con un Coles 4038, pero creo que igualmente puede servir para otros modelos y marcas. Las dejo en inglés porque no me fío mucho de mi traducción, pero vamos que es sencillo de entender y si no google translate, jejej.

Do not allow this microphone to come into contact with iron dust or filings.

The strong permanent magnets in this microphone will attract any iron particles that come near the front grid

When the microphone is packed in a lidded container, the lid must no be closed violently

Do not use phantom power with ribbons microphones

4038 studio ribbon microphones must no be blown into, or placed in close proximity with high sounds pressure levels, as this can stretch the ribbon.

When not in use always ensure that the microphone is placed inside its protective pouch.

Under no circumstances must the front of the microphone be pressed into a yielding surface.

Do not attempt to check continuity of a ribbon microphone, as damage the ribbon may be incurred.

If proper care is not exercised, the performance of the microphone may be seriously impaired.
