Hola si os quedais con ganas de mas soulful después del vocalbooth weekender, os podeis acercar hasta Dumfries (Escocia) y disfrutar durante 3 días del Scottish Soulful Weekender 2012.

Welcome to SSW2, our second SCOTTISH SOULFUL WEEKENDER.
Last years event was a massive success and was hailed as "the friendliest weekender ever" by all of the patrons that attended this incredible 3 day event.
The promoter Yogi Haughton is one of the U.K's best known black music DJ's with a list as long as your arm when it comes to where he has played and the who's who of talent that he has worked with over the years. A veteran DJ of many of the U.K.s top weekenders, Yogi has brought all this experience to the table to promote what was for many last year's premier black music event.
With our huge superior sound systems transported from London, friendly door & hotel staff and fantastic facilities at our venue The Cairndale Hotel, which is situated in the heart of the picturesque town of Dumfries and is ideally nestled on the English/Scottish border, you can enjoy easy transport routes into the town no matter how you choose to travel from anywhere in the U.K. There is plenty of free parking and the town is serviced by two train stations, (please see travel page). The Cairndale is a perfect venue for a weekender event of this stature as last years event testifies, now it's time to do it all again.....Welcome to SSW2
Musically SSW is a shrine for people that enjoy their music on the more soulful and jazzy side, whilst our massive house room, THE PRESSURE POINT caters for the mo' jackin' and deeper side of house with great vocal sounds thrown in for good measure.
This year we have a new room also, THE BLUE ROOM will cater for disco edits, new disko, rare groove and classic vocal house from the early days of the garage scene.
All this as well as the already legendary SHRINE ROOM where things can bounce from Mecca sounds to northern, from rare disco to Boogaloo and funk in an instant.
Those of you who simply collect but like spinnin' the odd tune, or are a young DJ's eager to show off their skills, the early birds are in the line-up in our innovative GOLDMINE ROOM.
If you want to take a quick break outside of the main venue, THE SOCIAL SESSIONS is a free party 200 yards along the road from the main venue and runs while the weekender is taking a breather to soundcheck live acts and restock the bars. This year local Dumfries club 'The Social' will be hosting sessions upstairs at Broon's Bar with Social residents as well as a few surprise guests.
