Biografía: My name is Julio Cordoba, my DJ name is Julez Cordoba and I'm original from Colombia.
When I was 14 years old, I had my first experience like a DJ, I had never touch a turntable before and a friend let me tried his for the first time and I was very good at it.
After that I started to follow the DJs around "El valle del Cauca" in Colombia, I went to many cities trying to get a DJ gig, after asking and trying so many times and finally "El Diablo DJ" famous DJ in Colombia gave me the opportunity to learn how to play Electronic Music.
It was so great, when I started, the tools were really difficult to control. The pitch control and almost everything was analogical, and I told myself, I should be good on this to do it well. After 2 years learning, when I was 16 years old, I had to play for the first time front to like a 300 people at a gig.
That was the a little Story about my beginning into my career as a DJ.
For about 4 years, I was traveling around Colombia, playing in many cities all over the country. Then an opportunity to travel and DJ abroad came up. I was 20 years old and went to Milan, Italy. Playing in some V.I.P. clubs with Absolute Company for about three months.
I had a flight back to Colombia after that but I decided to get a train and went directly to Alicante, Spain. I don't have enough words to say how I grew up with all the new DJ tools and sounds, House, Tech-House. Been playing in hundreds of clubs from different cities and never said no when the music was not the one I used to play, one big example was in 2004.
In 2004 I had my first experience with Hip-Hop and R&B music, it was a bar named CAFE de la SAL. My friend DJ Atún had to move to London and he couldn't play there anymore. So the manager heard about me and immediately called me and the first question was, can you play Hip-Hop and R&B? And in one second I said yes, I can. Crazy really, but in less the one week I got into the Hip-Hop and R&B music. Really nice time in my life. Never gonna forget that.
Well in 2008 I moved back to the electronic sounds and back to the big clubs.
Now in 2012 I have been in 10 Countries like U.S.A. Portugal, Italy, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark, France, Spain and at the moment in Germany. I can't say how many cities I have been too but I can say is more than 50 and all great cities and fantastic people all around them.
