Biografía: Jeronimo Nieto A.K.A Roney M - Deacon Frost - Starkmad (n. Barcelona, España; 13 de noviembre de 1978 ) es un productor, compositor y Dj de música electrónica, especializado en producir música house, electro, dub, techno y trance. Roney, nació y creció en Barcelona, en el seno de una familia siempre enlazada al mundo de la música por su padre, que ha sido teclista, acordeonista y arreglista de orquestas y grupos conocidos a nivel mundial. Actualmente reside en Barcelona (España). A los 11 años empezó a tocar órgano y sintetizadores. A la edad de 15 años, comenzó a mezclar sus primeros vinilos y a organizar fiestas en la buhardilla de casa de un amigo. Desde los 16 años, trabajó eventualmente como Dj en raves y en las discotecas Avalon, LaNau, Avalon Prat, Scorpia, Piramide, Pont Aeri, LaFesta, El Cel Group, Danzatoria, Woman&Caballero, Fritz, EiTwo, Atik, Catwalk, Pacha, etc... compaginando la experiencia con la producción y el solfeo. En 2000, crea la Formacion Needle Destructors junto a Pere Esteban y lanzaron sus primeras producciones con una compañía belga (USA Import) y una compañía francesa (BIO Records) con la que colabora en varios temas de terceros producidos y editados por la misma. Varios de los maxis que salieron a la venta consiguieron entrar en los primeros puestos de las listas dance de varios países. En 2003, entra a formar parte de un selecto grupo de productores con el objetivo de producir y remezclar temas para conocidas compañías discográficas y varios sellos de música dance con recopilatorios a nivel mundial que se promocionaban en discotecas y emisoras de radio. Se traslada a su segunda residencia en Aachen, Alemania; y colabora con otros musicos en multiples proyectos discograficos. En 2005, decide volver a Barcelona, España; para entrar en un periodo de reflexión, dejando atrás discotecas y discográficas para poner un punto y aparte a su carrera musical, dedicándose en especial a su familia y a componer varios estilos, desde música dance hasta Rock ballad. En la actualidad, Roney sigue evolucionando como productor y Dj, ampliando sus conocimientos de sonido y trabajando en estilos que a día de hoy inspiran sus composiciones musicales, intentando siempre superar lo hecho anteriormente, prueba de esto se puede ver reflejada en la constante solicitud de su participación con conocidos productores, ya sea para arreglar o co-producir temas que actualmente suenan desde las principales salas hasta las emisoras mas importantes a nivel internacional.

Roney was born and raised in Barcelona, in the heart of a family which was dedicated to the musical world mainly through his father, who was a keyboard/accordion player, and a well known composer for orchestras and bands on a global scale. At the age of 11 Roni began to play the organ and synthesizers. At the age of 15 he started to mix his first vinyl’s and organized parties in his friend’s attic. Since the age of 16 he has been DJing in raves and clubs such as Avalon, LaNau, Avalon Prat, Scorpia, Piramide, Pont Aeri, LaFesta, El Cel Group, Danzatoria, Women&Caballero, Fritz, EiTwo, Catwalk, Pacha, etc… merging his experience in production with singing. In 2000, he created the musical group Needle Destructors whit Pere Esteban and they released his first productions with a Belgian company (USA Import) and a French company (BIO Records) with which he worked with helping to edit and produce various third party projects. Several of the maxis which went on sale reached the top of various dances charts around the world. In 2003 he joined a select group of producers whose objective it was to mix and produce tracks for well known record labels, which were later included in compilation albums world wide, and promoted on radios and in clubs. Shortly after this he chose to move to his second residence in Aachen, Germany, where he worked closely with other musicians for several record projects. In 2005 he returned to Barcelona to reflect on life, leaving behind the club scene to start a new page in his musical career, dedicating himself to his family and composing various new style of music, from dance to ballads. At present Roney continues to evolve as a producer and DJ, increasing his knowledge of sound and working in styles which now inspire his musical compositions, trying always to surpass his previous work. Proof of this can be seen by the constant request for his participation in projects by well known producers, to fix or co-produce tracks which can be heard from the main rooms in clubs to the largest radio stations on an international level. .. ..
