The Fender Kingman has always been the acoustic guitar for electric guitar players. From the versatile tone pallet coming from this dreadnought acoustic to the modern C shape neck and traditional fender electric headstock everything has been designed to be the only acoustic for you.
Beautiful Acoustic Sounds
While others have claimed to make an acoustic guitar for electric players few have made one that acoustic players can love as well. The Kingman achieves that by being a true acoustic electric guitar no fancy wizardry on the body. Just a simple but stunning solid mahogany back and sides with a cracking solid spruce top for the classic dreadnought sound.
It doesn't just end at the woods though. Their use of scalloped "X" bracing and the classic "Viking" style bridge give this body not only a classic tone but look as well. Fender really have tried to make this the best acoustic for you no matter what your background is in.
To make sure you can hear it live when you are on stage you have a built in Fishman Presys pickup and preamp with an on board tuner. This means you can just rock up, get on stage and plug straight into the PA for some stunning sounds. No one would even guess that behind the body sits a stratocaster style neck.
Electric Feel
The maple neck has a stratocaster style modern 'C' curve that makes it much more comfortable for those that prefer an electric feel. Even the headstock shows this off by still having the same traditional stratocaster design with 6 in one tuners. This separates the build of this guitar into two worlds. The body and tone of a high quality Fender acoustic with the playability of a Fender Stratocaster.
