ROLAND TR 808 Disponible para compra en BCN SOLO 4 DÍAS

Hola!! Vendo este Roland tr 808, el mítico drum machine del que sólo se hicieron 12.000 unidades entre 1981 y 1983.

Pongo en el título que sólo está disponible para comprarlo durante 4 días porque lo tengo en subasta en Ebay, y es cuando finaliza la subasta.
Escucho ofertas para cerrar trato en mano en Barcelona.

Supongo que sabeis inglés, podeis leer aquí la descripción completa. Hay un comprador Noruego que está muy interesado, pero si algun comprador SERIO de barcelona se da prisa, prefiero que el aparato se quede en la ciudad.

Just 12.000 units were made from 1980 to 1983 of this piece of music history. I’m not going to explain everything about what’s a Roland TR -808, you can check it on wikipedia:

But of course what I’m going to do is to explain the actual condition of this one I’m selling.

The overall condition is good, I would give a 7 out of 10.

There are a few knob covers missing (easy to replace), one screw on the back of the unit missing (its doesn’t affects at all), and knobs have marks, as some scratches and little rusty parts on the body of the drum machine, but really small things (screws basically).

That’s the aesthetic part. I’m telling everything it have, but if you check the pictures, and have a look at the video, you’ll see there’s almost NOTHING.

About functionality. I can’t say it’s fully functional, as I’m not sure all the different modes are working as they should. 1st part, Manual play and fill/in work good, but something’s not clear about “2nd part” mode. Maybe it works fine, I don’t have enough knowledge of this machine, but what I know is that all the rest works fine.

Every sound works, tempo Works fine, A –B switch Works (which I think can be used instead of 2nd part, in case is not working properly), TAP button, START/STOP button, track clear, etc..

So, after the video, maybe you’re asking your self “why this guy is selling this machine on an open auction instead of fitting a kenton midi on it, giving some care to it, to get 2800 euros for this marvelous ROLAND TR 808??”

I’m going to answer it:

1- Because I don’t have the time to do it.

2- Because I know almost nothing about electronics.

3- Because I need funds for a new guitar (if you are a musician, you know what G.A.S. is about).

4- Because I want you to do that for me.

Yes. You can take some care of this Roland, install a retro kenton midi and get a good profit from it, of you can use it as it is, or you can keep it as investment, because is a rare and exclusive piece of music history.

So, I’ll try to answer every question you have, in case you still have any doubt.
