Problemas instalar Protools 8 en 10.5.8

Hola:

Tenia un protools 8 que me vino con mi mbox y que instale en mi macbook sin problema hace ya tiempo .... tuve que formatear y ahora no me lo instala .... Probe con otro cd de un compañero tb la version 8 para saber si era mi cd. Reformatee .... repare permisos y nada me sale este error .... Haber si pueden ayudarme gracias!!!!!

PD: Tambien he intentado descargarmelo de la pag pero parece que con mi nº de serie no me deja ..... todo son inconvenientes.

Si hablamos de protools, lo mas normal es que sea incompatibilidad de versión con sistema operativo... ten en cuenta que este soft es muy delicado con las actualizaciones de sistema, y sus versiones. Hay que fijarse mucho en esto...

Voy con la versión 10.6.6 de mac y tengo instalado el protools 8 Esencial de 16 pistas, que me vino al comprar una tarjeta de sonido externa M-AUDIO.
Es curioso porque al instalar el programa en casa de un amigo, abrió y funcionó perfectamente, pero cuando llegué a mi estudio y coloqué la torre en su lugar, al arrancar me daba ese error y nunca he podido solucionarlo, así que estoy tirando de CUBASE que si me funciona.

¿Sabría alguien decirme a que es debido este error?
