The Allen & Heath GR05 is a 1U rack-mountable audio zone mixer for professional installations, featuring 2 mic and 3 stereo line inputs that can be routed to 4 mono or 2 stereo zones. It is designed for flexibility with internal jumpers for custom configuration, remote control options, and features like ducking and EQ, making it easy for end-users to operate after initial setup.
Key features
Inputs: 2 microphone inputs (XLR) and 3 stereo line inputs (RCA).
Outputs: 4 audio zone outputs (XLR), which can be configured as mono or stereo pairs.
Flexibility: Allows for custom routing of any input to any combination of outputs using internal jumpers.
Zone control: Output levels can be controlled from the front panel or remotely.
Configuration: Internal jumpers allow installers to set up features like phantom power, mic/line levels, EQ, and ducking, which can then be locked for simple daily use.
Ducking: Includes ducking capabilities (a form of automatic gain reduction) and muting, which can be configured internally or triggered externally.
Expandability: A second GR05 can be connected to expand the number of inputs and outputs.
