Scott McCabe has announced that he is resurrecting his DS8 Drum Works project and has begun work on DS8 v2.0 which he plans to release in two versions - DS8 Drum Works v2.0F which will be a free version and DS8 Drum Works v2.0P which will be a pay-for-play version.
Preliminary plans for v2.0:
Fix remaining issues from DS8 v1.1, including adding support for modern VST hosts.
Pattern library: create and modify patterns, exchange with friends and so forth - a "groove buddy" will be integrated to make things feel "human".
Loop support.
Skin manager to switch skins and import custom ones.
Other unspecified new features.
Up to date development information, news, files (including samples, patches, updates, kits, etc.) will be posted in the new DS8 Yahoo! Group.

Algo que siempre busco en los drums samplers es poder controlar el ADSR igual que en battery.
