I know this post is old, but this may help whoever finds it.

When i posted this, Sweetwater.com had vocal samples recorded with a bunch of different microphones, including the C214 and the SE2200A

The SE has a warmer sound, while the AKG has a brighter sound. Also, the SE has different polar patterns to choose from.

Since they both sound noticeably different, i would say get both if you can afford them
