hola:

Massive Response From Logic Users

Karlsruhe,Germany, February 24th, 2003 --
Prosoniq would like to thank all Logic users who have emailed with their requests and thoughts about AudioUnit (AU) versions of the Prosoniq plug in products. "We had expected anything but this response. Our support staff has practically been deluged with emails about the news announcement that we won't be developing AU versions of our products soon. From what we had learned through our support staff in the past, we had expected that few or none would take notice of this at all, yet alone bother writing us about it", says Stephan M. Sprenger, CTO at Prosoniq. "Of course we appreciate all responses and it looks like we have to reconsider our development plans for this year based on what we know now", says Bernhard Bouché, CEO. "People probably took AU development for granted, which could explain what we thought was a mere lack of interest", Bouché adds. "Of course we are happy to see that there is such a massive interest in our products on this new platform and we go to great lengths to supply our users with good tools for their daily work. Although we do not have a development schedule for AU plug ins yet, we are evaluating options and development could commence as early as this summer", Sprenger says. For the time being, Prosoniq have set up a content-based auto-responder to reply to incoming emails about AU to keep support traffic to a minimum.
