Ayuda con fl studio

Hola, soy musico con experiencia y me gustaria crear algo con fruity loops, actualmente tnego el 12. Cuando pongo grabar se escucha un ruido fuerte o suena como si tuviera un efecto delay.

Si no me equivoco mi tearjeta de sonido es Audio WDM Crystal SoundFusion (TM) CS 4281

y mi equipo Windows 2002 service pack 3

Intel (R) Platinum (R) 4 CPU 3.06 GHz, 1, 49 GB de RAM
