Back to the raw.
A basement, a red light and a feeling as we take over this unused East London space to put together a top spec sound system for an intimate party with one of the undoubted legends of house music.
Kerri Chandler playing an 7 hour set from start to finish.
With a set inspired by his long and fruitful relationship with Madhouse Records. Expect some deep 80s & 90s house music and fresh from an all conquering summer as DC10 resident, don't be surprised if there's also some cutting edge techno thrown in.
Launched in 1992 Madhouse Records Inc was a joint venture between US DJ and producer Kerri Chandler and Mel Medalie’s Champion Records. As an outlet for Kerri’s music & tracks he came across whilst DJing, the first release on the label was a 6-track sampler entitled “A Basement, A Red Light & A Feelin’” which showcased some of the artists and releases to come, and sold in excess of 100,000 copies on vinyl alone.
With the label's tracks now remastered and available to download, Kerri will be showcasing some of his favourite tracks of the era in a Madhouse inspired set.
This is no super club and you can expect attention to detail with all aspects of the production with numbers limited. This is a chance to see an undoubted house music legend doing what he does best....
Rocking a warehouse party till the sun comes up.
