Al final hay un interesantisimo link a un .PDF en español que aclara mucha de las cosas que discutiamos aqui sobre el motor de audio del LIVE... etc
Aqui va la pregunta que le he mandado a la compañia (en pesimo ingles, jeje):
"Hi, Ableton Friends:
First, I`m sorry about my narrow english. (I m from argentina, and our
language is the spanish). If you can answer my question in spanish, please do it...
I have Ableton 6, and I want to buy Ableton 7.
My question is:
What is the difference about both audio motors... And what´s the
difference between Live audio motor and Cubase/Nuendo motor...
Thanks"
La respuesta de ellos fue:
Hi Marcelo,
sorry, just English available in the support team currently.
The biggest difference is the 64bit summing: each points in Live where
tracks are summed together (for example the master bus) are working in
64 bit now and deliver more accuracy.
In the rendering dialog, there´s now a POW dithering options, also high
quality mode for a couple of Live´s instruments and effects were introduced
in Live 7.
Please find the details on Live´s audio engine and tips to improve your
sound quality in the audio fact sheet (that´s in Spanish actually):
