Nebula 3 Experiencias?

Pues eso...que he rastreado, pero en posts tampoco se ha hablado tanto de Nebula salvo antaño, como alternativa a los MCDP...y sin embargo las opiniones de algunos de los más fiables rastreadores de por aquí, siempre han sido muy entusiastas....Tengo los gratuitos, el de CM, el de la web viejo, y por supuesto el de Hispa, pero tampoco los he usado demasiado.

Tenía la tentación navideña de pillar una UAD,...pero por 80 leuros tienes todas las librerías de simulaciones del Nebula 3 pro...y la verdad que me tienta mucho.

quería saber experiencias de los posibles compradores que pululen por aquí, confirmaciones de calidad, dudas sobre proceso y retardo, porque mi soft no tiene compensación.

he leido, que además de los refinamientos al engine del Volterra, las librerías que han ido elaborando son pura crema...y recogen todos los hard míticos y bastantes rarezas...no sé, en fin,...me gustaría tener opiniones contrastadas, y revitalizar la imagen pública de este superchachi sampler FX.

Yo me pillé hace unos meses el Nebula 3 y la verdad es que tampoco lo he utilizado mucho porque ahora estoy en proceso de grabación y no de mezcla.

De lo poco que lo he utilizado me ha llamado la atención la emulación de micrófonos. Tenía grabadas unas guitarras acústicas que sonaban muy asperas, les metí el Nebula con la emulación de un Neuman y aquello sonaba a seda.

En cuanto al resto de emulaciones, no sé si ya tengo los oídos cascados, pero hay muchas de ellas que no parece que hagan mucho con el sonido. Sobre todos algunos previos que poniéndolos en bypass me suenan igual que si estuvieran procesando el sonido... Pero ya te digo que no me he podido meter a fondo el plugin.

En cuanto a retardo y tal no te puedo decir mucho. En Samplitude no veo que haya ningún retardo. Eso sí, el plugin tira bastante de CPU.

Como novedad, dicen que estas navidades van a sacar un plugin sampler para samplear cacharros. Ahí es cuando creo que empezaremos a ver librerías de aparatos potentes.

ah, coño.....creí que ya estaban esas librerías para el 3...las de los Neve, Fairchild, Lala..y etcs...alñgo asín leí....A mí me pasaba un poco igual con lo de que muchos me suenan casi iguales...y no sé si era defecto de lo que yo usaba y para qué lo usaba...

Tienen un problema un poco gordo de difusión en su web....se publicitan un poco mal, en cuanto a los detalles de sus paquetes, sobre todo las librerías......yo entendí que lo del nebula 3 y el propio sistema del Volterra era lo que entendían como Sampler FX...aunque es verdad lo que dices de que estaban preparando un modulillo para que tú mismo tomes muestras del hardware que quisieras.

No sé...ando pensándomelo, pero me gustaría saber realmente qué tipo de presets albergan esas librerías.....porque me interesan tb compresores y Eqs más cañeros o extremos...que engrosen y que no sean de esos apenas apreciables, para equilibrar guitarras y ambientar conjuntos....yo quiero cosas para empacar un bombo puncher, y avivar un bajo funkero, y meterle un toque cáliiiiiido a unas voces....creí que eso lo ofrecía ahora NEbula 3....pero he de darle vueltas...

Paypal Phase

Copy the INIT.N2P file to the NebulaTemprepository\PROGRAMS folder
10)Start your sequencer

*Important Download Note*

Please remember before purchasing that the library component of Nebula is large. Currently it is roughly 5 gigabytes in size, which is split into 300 megabyte volumes. For people on very slow connections this may be a problem.

The library consists of a number of Preamps, Reverbs, Filters, Flangers, Phazers, Tapes, Choruses and Compressors. There is more content in the commercial library than the free library. The commercial library contains all of the presets from the free library in addition to a huge number of new ones.

In the future it is anticipated that Acusticaudio will offer library content on DVD.

More Detailed Purchasing Explaination

1) The paypal link is available in the Nebula3 and Nebula2 pages
"add to shopping cart", but only after you have logged in using your forum account and password. It is not possible to purchase without logging into acusticaudio.net first.

2) For paypal PLEASE use the same e-mail address you used for registering to the site. Before purchasing it is possible to change your acusticaudio.net account preferences such that the email address you use for our forum is the same as your Paypal e-mail address.

We will NOT steal your money if you do make mistakes, but processing your transaction will be slower. Please note that the reason for this is that transactions that take place without adhereing to the above advice will require manual intervention which will take additional time.

3) At the end of the transaction, you'll be a customer.

4) Once your account has been upgraded to customer (you username will appear in pink on acusticaudio.net) you can download the library and the plugin you have purchased.

5) Download the plug-in, you bought from within the Downloads section, it is located in "Nebula Commercial Plugins" directory.

6) Install the plugin. BUT remember, if you have already installed Nebula2Free or Nebula 3CM or KM you must use a different NebulaTempRepository. Otherwise your old Nebula2 free or Nebula3 cm WILL NOT WORK ANY MORE.

7) Launch the plug and verify that it is working (it will display the INIT file only)

Copy the Nebula3.ser or Nebula2.ser generated in your Nebulatemprepository. They are small files. Send the file to: info@acusticaudio.com.

9) We will email you a key, which consists of two files, namely INIT.N2P and INIT.N2V files. These files need to be copied into your NebulaTemprepository directory by the installer provided.

INIT.N2P needs to be copied into C:\NebulaTemprepository\Programs\ and
INIT.N2V needs to be copied into C:\NebulaTemprepository\Vectors\

10) Once the keys have been CORRECTLY installed the all presets within the library will function. Without the proper key, you may see ONLY 15-16 programs, that are more or less the old free ones. Even if you install everything you still NEED a key!

TIP: It is NOT necessary to download the WHOLE library.

About the library:
a) Volterra is the most important one, download it before the others. This is the "main" library.
b) Lagoon is the library dedicated to time-variants (chorus, flangers)
c) Crab is the reverb library.


About the licences:
Nebula2 licence is for a single pc only. The licence is linked to the serial number of your principal hard-drive, C:\. If you don't have C:\, or something is not working, we'll solve

Nebula3 licence is for 2 pc. You send us 2 serials (it is not necessary for you send both of them immediately!!!) and we'll send you 2 keys.

Note: The INIT.N2P and INIT.N2V make up your licence. The INIT.N2V file belongs in the VECTORS sub-directory of your nebulatemprepository. The INIT.N2P file belongs in the PROGRAMS sub-directory of your nebulatemprepository.

About the procedure:
We are migrating to an automatic procedure, but it is not perfectly ready yet, I think this procedure is safer. If you don't trust don't buy!!!!

Download the latest version of Nebula. The higher the number the more recent the version. For example 1.920 is older than 1.922.

miedo a que las firmas de hardware les demanden?

En ningún momento dicen que aparatos han sampleado. La lista de presets utiliza nombre que pueden dar a entender cuales son, por ejemplo, "Yakuzi" es Yamaha.

Just to complete the list of what is not implemented (so we go quickly), the library doesn't contain:

delays
multiband compressors
limiters and multiband limiters
strange dsp algo like transient modelers
and complex digital algorithms
harmonizer, pitchshifters, vocoders

about not sampled equipment:
we don't have fairchilds
we don't have vari-mu
we don't have distressor (but they are possible)


esto me echaría para atrás, pero leyendo que el 2 por 20 leuros da las mismas librerías, ya tengo compra perfect!!....si veo que necesito más proceso con el tiempo, ya se verá....parece ser que una vez compras, puedes no sólo actualizarte, sino descargar los nuevos presets que suban...a ver si samplean algunas cosas más...creo que cae la UAD y el nebula 2 comercial.

te he visto en el foro de Acustica Audio - Nebula y ahora aquí. Yo también ando trasteando el Nebula y tengo casi decidido pillarme el Nebula 2; por sólo 20 euros merece la pena probar. Lo único que me echa para atrás es el tamaño de la librería que hay que descargar.

Posteo porque yo ya tengo mi UAD y te diré que alagunos de sus plugins (los que hay que pagar, claro) suenan muy bien y tienen unos gráficos casi más chulos que su sonido. El Nebula (3free y el Hispa) tiene preset que en mi opinión suenan mejor que algunos plugins de la UAD. Me refiero al 2055AngelsEQ contra el Pultec o el Cambridge EQ. Las reverb suenan muy bonitas y reales, eso sí, no tienen la capacidad y calidad de edición de la Plate 140 de la UAD. En cuanto a calidad del sonido de las reverbs, en mi equipo no sabría decantarme por una u otra.

Hey, gracias por tu referencia...Por ahora me ahorro la UAD, porque de hecho...de reverbs voy surtido, y no las uso como para plantearme mucho más allá hacia el DSP definitivo...mi merodeo siempre será con compres y eqs...y eso creo que en un futuro le pido a mi semijapo coleguita que me traiga la Liquid mix que allí sí que sale por 430 lerus...pero por ahora la apuesta moral además será por el Nebula.....lo que no sé es si será esencial la diferencia del 2 al 3.....contando sólo el proceso y optimización, pues las librerías son compartidas....

Querría haceros una pregunta desde la ignorancia...

De verdad se porta tan bien el Nébula? Yo lo probé y me pareció una chusta,como decía Collin la mayoria de presets ni se apreciaban aún dandole caña a los potenciometros,los presets que percibía pues tampoco me llamaban la atención, tras esa mini-experiencia lo descarté...

Y ahora veo que la gente habla maravillas,no se si habrá cambiado algo,o soy yo que no tengo ni pajolera idea de usarlo, o los presets que me bajé eran una chusta..

De verdad vale la pena y se notan esas emulaciones hardware?
