¿Se puede trabajar con Pro tools sin hardware dedicado?

¿Se puede trabajar con algun Pro tools con tarjeta de audio que no sea de Digidesing ni de M audio? Gracias.

Con las nuevas mesas Onyx i de Mackie, se habla que también, pero no estoy seguro del todo.

No ,no se puede,ni con mackie onyx, ni con nada que no sea un hardware de digidesign o m audio.....

Con las onyx i decían que se podía, no, 12 monos? Como que habían hecho el proceso inversor, crear el driver a partir del programa... De hecho hubo dos noticias aquí en hispasonic al respecto... Por curiosidad, si estás informado, comparte esa info.

No se mucho,creo que solo funcionan como controladoras(no como interface) y punto....pero hay muchas mas en el mercado con conectividad protools.....Una 01v296 mucho mejor digo yo (y no soy fan de yamaha) que la patata esa.....

Sip, con las onyx sacaron un driver que las hacía compatibles con PT, en modo interface, pero la descarga del driver cuesta ni mas ni menos que 50 eurillos de nada. No se como irá ya que al parecer no ha tenido demasiada repercusión

SI Solker tiene razon,parece ser que funciona como interface,pero no habla de ello claramente en ningun momeno...PArece raro,,,,,y tambien es cierto que no ha tenido ninguna repercusion que yo sepa,,

The driver purchase allows your registered mixer to work with as many supported computers running Pro Tools® M-Powered™ 8 as you have access to (Mac or PC)
* Purchase and install Pro Tools® M-Powered™ 8 following all of Avid’s® installation guidelines (yeah, we know you know this already, but we gotta say it anyway)

LAs compatibilidades de Pro tools con otras marcas siempre han sido muy malas....A ver si alguien puede
contarnos que tal el tema!

No me suena que sea controladora, porque que yo sepa no tiene fadders automatizados... Creo que la diferencia entre las onyx y las onyx-i es que la onyx-i trae digamos el interfaz firewire ya incorporado, sin embargo con la onyx a secas, tenías que pagarlo e instalarlo. Corregidme si me equivoco...
Pero sus previos son considerados y si te permite chutar 16 canales o más sin direct outs, ni adats, sino por firewire y encima te puedes hacer una PA y unos monitores a la vez... Porque la serie grandecilla trae como 6 auxiliares u 8...
Un poco oportunista lo de cobrar, porque bastante atrayente es ya que sea la única mesa que rula como interfaz para pro tools... Aunque tendrán que amortizar la inversión de sacar el driver, que al haberlo hecho "inversamente" y sin autorización, no habrá sido barato.
En serio, esto de las onyx-i me parece interesante para un futuro... Si alguien ha probado que rula de verdad, que informe.
