Go to the MIDI/Sync menu.
Set "Sync Out" to the MIDI output port on the MPC to which you have connected your MIDI cable (e.g., "SyncOut: A (Master)").
Set "Mode" to "MIDI Time Code." Set "Frame Rate" to "30." (Note: Do not use "30D" which is a drop-sync and is intended for video equipment.)
Set "Send MMC" to "ON."
Press play or Play Start on the MPC and Cubase / Nuendo should now be playing in sync to the MPC.

Entonces el problema es el MPC que no envia señal correcta. QWue tal si probamos a la inversa? Cubase manda como master, MPC queda de esclavo.
Apuesto que ahi funcionará
On MPC5000 / 2500:

Set "Mode" to "MIDI Time Code."
Set the Tempo of the MPC sequence to match that of your Cubase/Nuendo session.
en el cubase:
Navigate to Transport > Synchronization Setup…
Under "MIDI Timecode Out," enable the device port for your MIDI interface to which you have connected the MIDI IN of your MPC.
Enable "MIDI Timecode Follows Project Time."
Press "OK."
Press Play. The MPC will now play in-sync with Cubase/Nuendo. (Using a pre-count is recommended.)
si eso ya lo he probado y si que funciona y se posiciona y todo pero de que me valen esos preciosos controles de transporte si le voy a dar con el raton
aparte de lo incomodo que resulta tener que coger el raton cada vez que repito una secuencia
lo otro que queda probar es MBC
en MPC:Go to the MIDI/Sync menu.
Press Mode + PAD 7.
Turn the data wheel to display "Sync."
Press the DOWN cursor
Use the data wheel to change the sync mode to "Master."

Enable "MIDI Clock Follows Project Position."

de hecho he desactivado el mtc en el akai y funciona, con el mismo fallo de la posicion pero funciona
osea que a la guia le sobra lo de poner el mtc a 30fps
