Conectar compresor a interface

buenas antes tenia un previo de microfono al que tenia conectado un compresor y estos a la interfce, vale el previo no lo utilizo entonces quiero conectar el compresor al interface ¿como hago esto?
el compresor es un 1952 de behringer( ya lo se ) pero lo quiero para algunas ocasiones darle otro aire al bajo, la interface es una focusrite saffire pro 40, los bajos los grabo por linea. antes lo tenia mas facil para conectarlo todo pero ahora
supongamos la cadena a seguir
bajo- input 1- entonces ¿deveria aprobechar una salida de la interface y conectarla a otra entrada?

conecta tu bajo al compresor y luego el compresor a la interface....digo yo....

no podria ser ya que grabo el bajo por linea y el compresor no tiene

creo que deveria ser interface-compresor -interface -oredenador

Si el mixer de la tarjeta lo permite, que me supongo que si (aunque no he mirado las config de esa tarjeta), metes el bajo por un canal, la salida de ese canal la asignas a una salida física de la tarjeta, la conectas al compresor, y la salida del compresor a otra entrada de la tarjeta ... y en el canal que vayas a grabar (ya dependiendo del daw que uses) poner como entrada el canal donde has conectado la salida del compresor.

Ahora bien, no se que tipo de latencia tendrás, ya que sumarás la pequeña latencia del canal de entrada de bajo (por muy poca que sea) a la de la entrada del compresor.

Si no me equivoco tu compresor tiene entrada jack...prueba a conctarlo por ahi,.....

En cuanto a lo que quieres hacer, seria la entrada de linea pasa la señal a la interface luego la interface tiene un salida por la cual sale esta señal hacia el compresor pero te da igual porque segun tu teoria no tiene entrada de linea no?

te va a dar mucha latencia si tienes que hacerlo asi...

si la interface tiene dos entradas de instrumento el que no las tiene es el compresor.
he probado lo que dice solker que es lo que pensaba, el tema ahora seria rutear las salidas y entradas de la interface.
¿alguien que sepa como se hace eso con el saffire pro control?
tendre que mirar bien el manual para ver como se hace eso.

The presets include settings for recording and monitoring inputs with zero latency, and presets for mixing externally. This means that rather than having to manually configure all your output routing, one output after another, select the relevant routing preset for a quick setup solution.

Parece que latencia cero.


He mirado en la user guide y:


When there is no input to a mixer channel, it will display “off”.

Inputs:
Clicking on the “off” region brings up a list of all available inputs that can be fed to the channel. All analogue
(labelled ‘Line’) and digital inputs, and DAW outputs are available.
When selecting a source on a stereo channel, if an odd numbered input is chosen for the left channel, the
next even number input is auto selected for right, and Vice Versa
Note that if an input has already been taken, it will be greyed out and you cannot select it again. The input
needs to be deselected from the track where it is already taken, and then re-selected on the desired track.

Outputs:
Click on “Sel…” to chose the output destination of that mix.
You can name the current mix by typing the desired name in the text field below the output channel. You will see
the name appear in the mix tab. For example, Mix 1 can be renamed “Monitor Mix”, and Mix 5 named “Headphone
1 Mix”.
To copy an existing mix to another mix, simply click on “Copy Mix To...” and select the mix to which you would like
to copy.
Note that you can only copy a stereo mix to another stereo mix, and a mono mix to another mono mix. Therefore
you must make sure that you have correctly set up the output channels to either stereo or mono before copying
the mix.


Viene bastante mas...bajatela probablemente consigas enviar las señales y hacerte un preset..
