Lemon, el delay acqua, está a punto de salir. Con lemon, AA lanza el nuevo motor Core 11 que, entre otras cosas, ya es capaz de emular distorsión analógica sin aliasing. Esto está cambiando muy rápido!

Happy and relaxed, anything else. I try Lemon and I feel relaxed. Yes, this is maybe the biggest thing after nebula.
Normally we are "accused" of not providing enough audio demo, so while I was testing the plug I created audio files for you!
They are around 100 files, 1 gigabytes. There is enought for learning what Lemon is really.
From clean spaces to guitar distortion, to tape compression. The best delay units on the planet were sampled, and we are using their tone for our little tool.

While I was creating these demos, I followed these "impressive" little rules:
- I used ONLY presets (I mean Lemon presets, not programs! Lemon is shipped with 40 programs= emulations and 101 presets)
- File names are just following the preset name convention. There is a dry file and you'll be able to doublecheck it in lemon as soon you'll have it.
- I used ONLY the mix knob, and in a very few cases the input knob in order to force more saturation. I didn't touch anything else!
This makes the demo impressive. No adjustments. Nada of nada. All presets are good for all possible sources!

You have 3 dry files: an electronic/dance song, a rock song and a guitar arpeggio.
In order to understand what the delay is doing, the first two are rendered with a bit of silence and the end of the dry file, so you can hear the delay tail.
For the guitar it was not necessary, since the effect is obvious.


Note: I provided 32 bits floating: basically I didn't check if levels were correct, so rendering floats avoids integer truncation during the export. You could adjust them later.
Note2: Sometimes I used a "stronger effect" just for showing the preset in a better way. Normally I would expect more dry mix on several ones. But this is the purpose of the demo.

#111 es normal que un delay no lleve aliasing, veremos cuando salgan los nuevos compresores que es cuando se destroza la señal.
Porque de ser verdad sería algo increíble pero ahora mismo lo pongo en duda.

Pero el parámetro drive es una distorsión... y no tiene aliasing.

Igualmente he visto Drives sin aliasing, como algunos de Sonimus e incluso de Waves en su 73.

Sigo opinando que eso hay que verlos en compresiones ya que un Drive puede ser simplemente añadir armónicos.

Hay un compre sin alias en Ebony, uno de los que tienen ataque fijo, creo que es el U82.

El Ivory de una banda tiene alias a - 120db, lo que es bastante limpio comparado con otras emulaciones (Slate, Waves, PSP).

¿Serías capaz o tendrías ganas o tiempo de indicarme a que maquinas emulan cada plugin de Acqua? Es un poco follón porque todos tiene varias versiones.

#115 tendré que echarle un ojo. Sabes en qué tiempos ataca y relaja? Igual es que es demasiado lento. Generalmente cuanto más rápidos son sus curvas, más aliasing generan.

Cuanto más rápido, más distorsiona. Si los tiempos son más rápidos que el ciclo de la onda, esta se vuelve cuadrada y genera harmonicos. Dependiendo de la frecuencia, a más grave, más distorsión. Cuando los armónicos generados llegan al Nyquist se generan alias según Tim Peterik.

Los tiempos del Ivory son ajustables. El D82 de Ebony tiene ataque fijo y release ajustable. Las curvas están publicadas en el manual pero desconozco los tiempos:
