Hi there, Alex Wallbank here. This MIDI file was created with Cinematic Studio Solo Strings, Cinematic Studio Strings and Cinematic Studio Piano for Kontakt Player, using Cubase Pro 9. I’ve made this and other MIDI files available for educational purposes, so you can see and hear the libraries in action by importing the MIDI into your DAW. You’ll just need to load the patches in Kontakt and assign them in accordance with the track names in the MIDI itself.
To achieve the same mix as heard in the demo, please use the following settings:
Solo Violin II: Close mic @ -0dB, Main and Room at their default positions.
Full Ensemble 1: Disable both Violin I and Cello.
CSS Full Ensemble: Disable the Violas.
Please make sure import both the MIDI file itself and the Cinematic Studio Piano part (articulationdemo_pianopart.mp3) so that they’re in line with each other, and make sure the “Master Vol” setting in the Kontakt instance is set to 0.00.
This MIDI is subject to copyright law and cannot be rendered and sold as music or used in any other commercial venture without my express permission.
If you have any questions, please feel free to drop me a line at support@cinematicstudioseries.com
Cheers!
-Alex
